6/11 – 12:07 a.m. – Police were called for a disturbance, with a subject possibly being armed. Police located the subject walking in the street in the 300 block of N. Jefferson St. Upon investigating a firearm was discovered, and the suspect arrested. Upon a complete and thorough investigation the information was forwarded to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office. On Sunday the 12th the state’s attorney’s office charged the defendant, Taurino A. Figueroa age 24 of Belleville, with Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapon/Person; a Class 4 Felony, Category B Offense. His bond was set at $40,000.
