The St. Clair County Genealogical Society meets 7 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 3 at St. Luke’s Parish Hall, 226 N. Church St., Belleville In “Finding Family at the O’Fallon History Museum,”O’Fallon Historical Society President Brian Keller talks about the wide variety of materials available at the O’Fallon History Museum that can help in research on family that lived in the O’Fallon/Shiloh area. A life-long resident of O’Fallon, Brian is a co-founder (in 1988) and current president of the O’Fallon Historical Society. For the past 20 years he has written a local history column for the O’Fallon Progress and since 2015 “A View of the Past” for the O’Fallon Weekly. He is a member of the O’Fallon Historic Preservation Commission, O’Fallon Veterans’ Memorial Association and Downtown District Committee of the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce.
